EMERGEAn intense leadership training experience for younger and emerging leaders. Consulting leaders are Bob Perry and Marilyn Nelson with
Organizational Health Associates. emerge sessions are held over the course of a semester and consist of specific readings, various testing inventories, and 4 weekend sessions with the group. emerge is offered in the spring and in the autumn. Visit the

LEADERSHIP SEMINAREach year, CBF of Missouri hosts a Leadership Seminar in conjunction with its Spring General Assembly. This half-day event, designed for both laity and clergy, features renowned speakers and lively interaction. Topics are built around
specific spiritual practices (including practicing sabbath, hospitality, stewardship)
STUDENT.GOStudent.Go is a program allowing college students to engage in summer- or semester-long mission work with CBF field personnel and partners around the world. Missouri students who participate in this program are eligible to receive an additional $1000 stipend from CBF of Missouri.
SPIRITUAL FORMATIONMany church leaders are working to develop or renew their discipleship, religious education or spiritual formation programs and initiatives. CBF of Missouri coordinator Harold Phillips will be happy to assist in any discussion or meeting. In addition, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship offers Spiritual Formation resources, including the
Spiritual Formation Network website.
DEACONSCBF of Missouri staff can meet with deacons or deacon leaders in planning or retreat settings. Our statewide interaction with churches as well as our personal experiences as deacons can be a valuable resource for your deacon body. In addition, CBF offers
deacon-oriented articles and other resources for deacons.
STRATEGIC PLANNINGStrategic planning and visioning is vital for churches. Many systems exist, offering a number of possible strategies for planning. CBF of Missouri staff can assist churches in their planning with thoughtful advice, a listening ear, and broad experience.
PLANNED GIVINGStewardship is the Big Picture. Planned giving is one way thoughtful Christians can continue their influence for Christ-honoring ministries. Remembering your church, organzations such as the Fellowship or a particular ministry, or to undergird a cause you care about are important for caring Believers. We can help you make those decisions and work in partnership with the CBF Foundation or the Missouri Baptist Foundation. Interest in CBF of Missouri can be addressed through the CBFMO Endowment Board.
