Resources for Ministers

Benefits
Created in response to calls from Cooperative Baptist Fellowship congregations and pastors across the country, the Church Benefits Board offers Retirement, Disability and Life Insurance, and Medical Insurance to church ministerial staff and employees.

Peer Networks
Peer learning groups meet monthly to provide opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, study, discussion of ministry-related issues and fellowship. Currently, there are 7 peer groups meeting in Missouri.  Each group is led by a convener who was trained during the CBF General Assembly. The convener and group members determine the focus of each month’s gathering. The Fellowship provides the groups with suggested resources related to promoting pastoral excellence and congregational health.

Area peer groups leaders are:
Allan Aunspaugh, Liberty, MO (Music Ministers)
Terrell Carter, St. Louis, MO
Keith Herron, Kansas City, MO
Elizabeth Ashley Pritchett, Kansas City, MO
Micah Pritchett, Kansas City, MO
Doyle Sager, Jefferson City, MO
Todd Pridemore, Columbia, MO

Peer learning groups are a component of the CBF's Inititative for Ministerial Excellence. New groups are being formed and additional members are welcome.
