Join CBF of Missouri in Cape Girardeau for the 2012 General Assembly on April 27 and 28. First Baptist Church will host this event for the first time.

The General Assembly features

• an inspiring worship service, led by Fellowship Baptists from across the state;
• a missional banquet, highlighting the excellent ministries and missions of our Fellowship
• a compelling mission process seminar, conducted by Together for Hope leaders from Missouri
• a half-day of service with local ministries and mission partners
• a closing celebration meal and communion

Friday Events

ABCD Dialogue and Luncheon    •    10 am to 3 pm
(Underwritten in part by Dick and Esther McCall ‘s support of CBF of Missouri’s Leadership21 Endowment)
Led by the Together for Hope Missouri team,  this dialogue and lunch is for pastors, mission leaders and interested laity. The event will focus on asset-based community development principles that can transform a church’s missions engagement. Come share your challenges and dreams for community missions.
Meal cost: $5 per person

Business Session    •    4:30 pm
CBF of Missouri’s annual business meeting includes presentation of the 2012-13 ministry plan and election of council members and officers.

Missional Banquet    •    6 pm
Enjoy a meal with Fellowship friends while we present missions and ministry highlights from the year.
Meal cost: $10 suggested donation

Worship Service    •    7:30 pm
A highlight of the Fellowship assembly, this worship service will be a time of worship and preparation for the next day’s work. Friends from across Missouri will participate in the worship service. Mike Shupert, pastor of First Baptist Cape Girardeau, will bring the message.

Reception    •    9 pm
Join us for refreshments and fellowship following worship.

Breakfast Send-off    •    8 am
Start the morning right. Share breakfast with friends and gather for your morning of service.

Service Projects    •    9 am
Engage in projects that will have a lasting impact on the community, on the church, and on you. Join us in being the presence of Christ in Cape Girardeau.

Celebration Meal    •    12:30 pm
Our weekend will close with a celebration meal, discussion of our service experiences, and communion around the tables.
