Hearing Voices

As I write this, my brain is still echoing with all of the great ideas and input that came from our recent strategic planning session. I’m thankful to Connie McNeill for her outstanding leadership of this meeting, but I’m even more thankful to those who came to add their voices to the discussion and to those who supported us with expressions of prayer and good will. Blended together, those voices help define an exciting future for CBF of Missouri.

This issue of Connect features stories about individuals and churches touching the future:

• a church shapes the faith of a young man who, in turn, shapes the faith of hundreds of children

• churches care for future generations and the poor by caring for the environment

• a man advocates for biblical equality, impacting the minds and lives of women and men for years to come

I wish CBF of Missouri could look far ahead – to see the bright future of these churches, these friends, and of the Fellowship itself. Instead, we’re listening. To the Spirit and to you. Thank you for speaking up.
