Behind Closed Doors

You ever wonder what all those men and women say to the President when they meet behind closed White House doors? I do!

Are they just "yes people" to whatever the Prez wants? Do they try to butter him up with just nice things? Do they say in private what is not (literally) politically correct in public? Would be interesting to be a fly on the wall (or a bug under the table) sometime.

You have that opportunity on a much more modest but holier scale with the upcoming CBF of Missouri Advisory Group meeting. The Advisory Group is for those who have served in leadership in our beginning years. It is for pastors of churches that partner with the Fellowship. It is for those of us who make the Fellowship a reality in Missouri because of our prayer and financial support.

Our day in Jefferson City will be a time for you to learn the "inside stuff" going on throughout the Fellowship. We look forward to Daniel Vestal being with us that day.

It will be a time for the CBF of Missouri staff to listen and learn how we can better direct the energy and resources of the Fellowship to strengthen churches.

We will discern how to deepen the roots of the Fellowship throughout Missouri.

It won’t quite be with the President in the White House behind closed doors. October 5 will be a day for listening, praying, inspiration, and fellowship.
